Regular, narrow complex (unless aberrancy is present) tachycardia (atrial rate usually 100-200bpm) with p-wave morphology different from sinus p-wave morphology. The PP interval may periodically shorten (warm-up) or lengthen (cool down), particularly at onset or termination. A QRS follows each P, although at rapid rates AV block may occur.
