Block of sinus node impulse conduction leading to absence of sinus node activity, occurring either in a Mobitz I or II pattern. With Mobitz I pattern, there is progressive shortening of the PP interval followed by a pause. With Mobitz II pattern, the pause is a multiple of the baseline PP interval.
