A 69-year-old woman presents to the cardiology clinic for follow up: 
Diagnosis
- AAI pacing
- Atrial pacing followed by sinus rhythm and pacemaker inhibition
- Heart rate 52/min
- One premature ventricular complex
- Non-specific T wave abnormality
The programmed rate of the atrial pacemaker is 50/min. As the rate of the sinus node increases above 50/min, the atrial pacemaker in inhibited and there is sino-atrial capture.
