This 82 year old woman fainted suddenly while at home. She recovered consciousness after a few minutes and was brought by ambulance to the Emergency department. She appeared drowsy and confused.

• Sinus rhythm with complete heart block
• Very slow ventricular escape rhythm (19/min)
