Case 53: A 73-Year-Old Woman with a Prosthetic Cardiac Valve

A 73-year-old woman had replacement of a cardiac valve 3 years ago, with very satisfactory results:
Diagnosis
- Sinus rhythm
- Left ventricular hypertrophy with repolarization abnormality
This lady had aortic valve replacement because of severe symptomatic aortic stenosis. There was marked improvement after surgery, however, the ECG and echocardiographic findings of left ventricular hypertrophy remains unchanged.
