History
Diagnosis
History
A 82-year-old man with complaints of weakness and fatigue during the past week is brought to the Emergency Department after an episode of sudden loss of consciousness that lasted approximately 10 minutes:
Diagnosis
- Sinus rhythm, 80/min with complete heart block
- Wide-QRS rhythm, 37/min, with right bundle branch block pattern
- The wide QRS and the very slow rate <40/min suggest a ventricular escape rhythm (the more distal is the escape rhythm, the slower is usually its rate)
ECG ID: E163
